We offer an excellent Workers Compensation record. The WCB statutory corporation administers a system of workplace insurance for the workers and employers in Alberta. The organization is employer funded to compensate for workers lost income, health care and other costs related to a work-related injury.
Petroleum Orientated Safety Training (POST) certification and training is required for all our oil & gas project workers. This program outlines the required safety documentation for petroleum sites and focuses on behavior towards safety and proper personal protective equipment.
The Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA) is an independent non-profit society of construction employers who share a common vision to make the construction environment in Alberta as safe and cost efficient as possible.
The Certificate of Recognition is a voluntary program, run by the Government of Alberta. It is available to all members and associate members of the ACSA from owner/operators to large corporations.
The Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) is Canada’s national hazard communication standard. All workers are WHMIS trained and follow this internationally consistent approach to classifying chemicals and communicating hazard information though labels and safety data sheets at work sites.
